How To Publish A Site

To publish your site in EasyWeb, simply click on your website's name in the page list on the left hand side, which will bring you to the publish window.

Enter your email address and password. This is the same email address you used when signing up for EasyWeb and the password you created while signing up. Then click the Sign In button.

After you have successfully signed in, you can select to publish to EasyWeb or to a folder on your hard drive. If you wish to publish to a folder, select Folder from the drop down, and then click the Choose button to select the destination to publish the website folder to.

If you want to publish the site to the web on your EasyWeb hosting account, select EasyWeb from the drop down menu. If you have more than one EasyWeb hosting account associated with your email address, select the appropriate account from the Accounts drop down menu. If you only have one hosting account, you can leave this option as is.

Next, select the domain you want to publish to. If you only have one domain on the account, you can leave this option as is.

If you want to publish the site to a location other than your main domain, type in a Site Name in the Site Name field. So for example, let's say you already have a site up and running with your current domain and you do not want to overwrite it with your EasyWeb site just yet, type in a Site Name which will publish your site to a different location. As an example, I am going to type in temporary. You can do the same, or you can type in anything else you want. If you want to publish it to the root folder for this domain, then leave this field as is.

Now we can click on the publish button and publish our site. When you publish your site, you will see a popup box asking you if you own all copyright to all materials you are publishing. Make sure you are only publishing material that you have the right to publish. If you do not want to see this message again, click the Don't show again option. Then click Continue.

When publishing has finished, we can see our websites online by clicking the Visit Site Now button.
